Asko W640 washing mashine !!! Got "engine failure" as an error message on the display and the mashine did not work. I changed the brushes and now the mashine is running until end of the...

You have to change the hose at the top of the drum and you need to polish the commutator in the motor - I removed the motor, took the brushes off, stuck the pulley in my lathe chuck, supported the motor housing and polished the commutator with a little 1200 wed and dry and some wd40 - seems to have fixed the exact same problem as yours.

How do you release the tension bolt to fit the belt on the washing mashine

To fit the belt it is not necessary to release the tension bolt. To remove the belt use a long screwdriver. Put it between the belt (sideways) and the large wheel, lever the screwdriver to outside while moving the wheel in clockwise/anticlockwise depending upon where you put the screwdriver at left/right side. Reverse the procedure for putting the belt on the wheel. While putting the belt first fit it on the motor pulley.

Beko wma 1512 s washing mashine not spinning

I've just had the same problem, replaced the brushes and the problem was still there, i then cleaned out the filter, it was really clogged up, this fixed the fault, you will also need a couple of towels to soak up the water from the filter, if the machine can't empty all the water from the filter it stays there and will not move on to the next cycle thus making you think it may be a pcb fault, please clean the filter before spending money on new brushes and/or new module or getting an engineer out to it at cost to you, please also ensure you remove the plug from the wall socket before you attempt to fix any electrical appliance,
