You will need to uninstall the messenger from your computer and then re-install it to resolve this issue

The problem I have with not being able to sign into yahoo messenger is that I get an error message with number that are 81003004. It says try again...new user and sign in problems. This has been going on for many months now and I have removed yahoo from add and remove and downloaded yahoo messenger many many times. I really like yahoo and essepically my radio station I created and miss some of my friends I cannot contact any more. Please help me resolve this problem. I can sign into my home page with correct password with no problem but not yahoo messenger. Like I said the error message I get is 81003004 that is showing up on my yahoo messenger IM log in.
