I have a kenwood kvt 819 and Im getting a error message saying disconnected cable Found please find connection line...but i check all my cables and wires they are all connected....so whats next..it seems if my brain isnt getting power cause my amps and cd changer arent working either...i check all the fuses that i know of.....any help will be greatly appreciated....and its hook up in a 2005 impala to..thanks

Hi there! You need a Kenwood KCA-iP300V iPOD VIDEO DIRECT CABLE.

Same thing happened to me on 1 that I installed. There is a long molex cable on back of the head unit that goes to a tunr/amplifiwe usually mounted under the seat. This is the ontroll brain. It is either non existant, or you need to plug it back in behind the stereo. Mine was the same way,mounted in a Ford Escape, it somehow vibrated out! Go figure. Hopefully this silves it. Let me know.

just had the same problem. it turned to be the large black cable that goes from the control box to the head unit. hope that helps.
