Screen Everything works fine on the phone except the screen which goes blank after switching on for a few seconds. Initially the picture and home page are shown, but then it goes. The phone continues to work though.

Does this happen on regular web pages or when running other apps like Word? I repair laptops and have found that sometimes the screen switch is flakey and needs contact cleaner to get it working properly again.

Hi, the phone is a flex phone. The flex connect the board of the phone to the screen board which enables the screen to display is faulty, either it's shifted that while it comes on and off, or it is getting bad more.

You will need to unscrew the phone, adjust thee flex and from there you will know if it is to be replaced or not.

I would advice, if you do not know about loosing a phone, you have to take it a repair store around you, in other to prevent further damage to the phone.

If everything is fine except your screen, bring it to a technician and have them check first the flex wire.

If your flex is fine then the last thing will be your LCD. have it replace

I was talking on phone in the car. Made a quick call. Everything work fine. Than the screen went blank white. I can't see the screen of any application. I take the battery out to see if it would reset the phone and turn it back on. It went straight back to the blank white screen. I try another solution. I use my home phone. Call my phone. It signal as it was off mode. Straight to answering machine. Red light flashes....I then, hold #1 to get voicemail. It did work. So my service is good. So my problem is how can I solve the blank screen issue? Has it happen to anyone before. Battery strong and it's not low on battery level. Thanks for any suggestions.

It seems your hard drive has corupted.
This sucks, all you have to do is push ALT F10 and then go through the reseting menu, you will loose everything on there though except the original data.
