Hello, I have a Haier portable washer, top loading, model HLP21N. Until recently, it had been working fine but then suddenly it would stop at the spin cycle. A few beeps and the machine would turn off by itself. The drum doesn't spin and water doesn't drain. I opened the back, everything looks "normal". One of the corner suspension pieces was off but fixing it didn't help. When I set the machine manually to SPIN, I just get a few beeps and that's it. I would like to salvage this handy appliance, but can't afford a repairman at this time. I looked at the Safety solution given in other post but it doesn't seem like it is my issue. Please, help!
Bad drain pump or clogged drain line. some units have drain trap you can clean,if so you can clean it out yourself but will make a huge mess if you don't pinch close the drain hose between the tub and pump.
I have the same problem: the drain pump does not start when it is time to do; a thechnician from haier came and changed the pump with no result, it does not drain.
I installed a temporary button to send 110v to the pump manually and it works well; I drain manually when it is time and the washing machine does the job properly. I am sure the problem is the control board, WD-5210-13 et I will order it soon, for now I am travelling and dos not stay enough time at the same place.
