Dishmachine will not hold water. Its draining as you fill it?
Draining continuously. Will not hold water in the unit to wash the dishes. Next day no problem...next day same dry wash. Chemicals disperse and water but directly down the drain.

Hello, How long has your dishwasher been do this? Have you washed dish's in
it? Also, these German made dishwasher run on less than 2 1/2 gallons of
water. These German manufactured dishwasher machines run really quite. Because
of the German water conservancies laws. They limit the amount of water
dishwasher and washing machine can use. Also, there is no storage hot water
system in there homes, it on demand hot water. You can't hear the motor running
and about the only thing one can hear is maybe the water washing the dishes.
Now, the water at the bottom of the dishwasher, if the drain isn't connected
up under is the sink drain and trap area or the garbage disposable in the sink.
but some place lower on the drain pipe. You will not have a spiffing effect on
the the bottom of the dishwasher, it the same with washing machines. One the
discharge pump starts sucking air, it will not drain the dishwasher. The siffen
effect works if the water is below the outlet for the drain. Example: Home owner
have the new washing running and continue fill with water. Why, because the
drain pipe end is below the the bottom of the washing machine tub. It fill up
with water and siffen action continues emptying the tube will it still filling.
One heck of a water bill.
Is the water cut off to the dishmachine. The first thing any dish washer should do at the beginning of the cycle is heat/fill with water. If you do not hear the water come on when you start the cycle, chances are that you have a bad fill valve, control circuit issue or no water supply to the dish machine.
you need to check to see what the temps of you water going into the unit is. it needs to be atleast 120 degrees. if not your unit may be waiting to heat the water, until it does then it wont go into the next cycle. it could be the heat cycle is not working so that would cause the unit to not advance. let the unit run thru the place you think its stopping, but not more then 2 hours. if its not advancing then you might have a bad heating element.
when "full" of water, the normal height of level is about 1/2 below the heater assy(large blackish grey coil below he spray arm).. if theres enough water in the unit nad its still not "spraying",its quite possible that your filter/chopper assy is clogged and cant let water through. try removing hte spray arm and under that you will see 5 torx15 screrw holding down top filter plate under there to the left youll see another t15 screw covering hte chopper assy area. claen out sump of debris this may be your issue
is the water draining out by itself? or is it getting pumped out by the machine? if this is a ge built machine it sounds like the drain solenoid is burned out and the unit is stuck in drain. a bad timer usually makes that happen so you might need the timer and solenoid
Which tank is loosing water?
Number 1. Make sure all curtains inside are in place.Curtains help keep the water in the proper tank. For example, curtains are missing between prewash tank and wash tank, the wash tank water could be significantly splashing into prewash tank and out the p.w. tank overflow. Are you ruling out the drain because you replaced o-rings? Look at the floor drain as machine is running. Do you see a large flow of water going down drain? There is a drain heigth adjustment on the drain lift. Mabe the drain stopper is not dropping far enough.
