Power light flashes green likes it turning on then flashes red 3 times. I just replaced lamp Sony Grand Wega KDF-55E2000

3 blinks should on this model mean "LAMP DOOR IS NOT CLOSED" BUT IT really means something else.

3 blinks is a lamp cover error, did you make sure that the lamp cover is screwed in tight? Also check the lamp cover for deformity, there is a problem with your model where the set over heats and melts the lamp cover a little causing it not to make connection with the lamp cover switch. Let me know if you find either of these problems? If not we can troubleshoot a little further.

Are you using an extension cable? If you are, try plugging it directly into the wall.

Alternatively, call up the helpline and they may be able to provide more insight into your specific problem.

The power indicator light flashes green 4 times then red 3 times and it won't turn on.....thought it was the buld replaced that and checked to make sure the door at the bulb was closed properly.still no...

Did you clean cooling fans including the ones mounted on the projector unit? When they become full of dust unit will not turn on. Its usually what kills the bulb in the end.

Problem for Sony Grand WEGA KDF-55WF655. Hello,

5 times Red LED blinks means Lamp Driver Error. (KDF-55WF655)
2 possible reasons, either Lamp is gone or Ballast Supply got bad.
Replace lamp first, in most cases it solved the problem.
How old is this TV and did you replaced lamp recently?

Sony Wega KDF-55E2000 won't turn on

A 5 blink code is a lamp power supply problem, but I would try a new lamp. I'd say about 90% of the time that fixes the problem.Get an ORIGINAL Sony lamp as the aftermarket replacements are ****. If you replace the lamp and still have the problem, you will need to have the lamp power supply/lamp ballast replaced

in this set 3 blinks means lamp cover not set properly but i think that your problem is your 6x red blinks that means you have a problem in the audio section in your set(missing a voltage) or a themal fuse open.
