My walkman wouldn't turn on, so I updated the firmware, it crashed in the middle of the update, when I tried to turn it on it said "boot error" then my computer wouldn't detect it.

What I did: I formatted my walkman on another computer using the windows, then I re-ran the firmware, I lost all my music but now it works!

Try to reset the device. Reset it to original factory settings and try again.

Toshiba tecra p5 up on black Screen on PCI EXPRESS ERROR can't boot????

If you can't boot to the bios, you are in major trouble. You can try and see if the manufacturer has a bios flash program you can load on a Flash drive to flash the bios...you will have to research that on another computer, obviously.

Panasonic toughbook cf-74 blue error screen loop

Which OS do you have? Have you tried booting to safe mode?. Restart the computer. Immediately after the BIOS post ends, start tapping the F8 key repeatedly. when Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select safe mode and see whether it boots completely without blue screen(BSOD)

    Black screen with boot error

You should use your hdd with the operating system installed as 1st boot device; else, use the factory restore from your manual, it is a complete backup of your OS to application that is stored in a hidden partition in your hard disk.

I came across this kind of situaiton on my HP laptop (win 7) and ended up with eliminating it with a boot program called BuitSuite and it helped entered my Windows and resolved the program. It seems that there is a system file missing which lead to error loading error when you boot. Hope it will also help in your case, best regards.
