Hi, you could go online and get instructions on how to oil it yourself. Perhaps it was given to you because the owner knew it was in need of a service?

i have the same problem. i bought a kenwood fp921
im sure about locking bowl and lid.
but the drive shaft is loose

Hi, I was bought a Kenwood Multipro FP730 xmas 2008, never used it, cos couldn't cook. Have started to cook sooo.. Xmas 2010 took it out of box to try.... and just cant get motor to turn on! never used,...

i have the same problem. i bought a kenwood fp921
im sure about locking bowl and lid.

Would be good to know the model number - look at the base plate as Kenwood made 4 different Multi Pro Compact models.
