As a general rule, Windows 7 will work Ok with Vista drivers. But as suggested by 's 4u 11', using a Virtual PC solution is a good one ... providing your computer/laptop has support for 'Hardware virtualization' which will then allow you to use the 'native' Windows 7 Virtual Machine XP mode .... Unfortunately, many computer processors (even some current INTEL or AMD duo cores) do not have this feature!!! You can download Microsoft VPC 2007 but it will not help as it does not support USB devices: it is a great Virtual PC environment ... but no USB device support in VM mode (ps your virtual hard disk VHD can reside on a USB external drive). BUT THERE IS A FREE ALTERNATIVE: SUN VIRTUALBOX (see. www.virtualbox.org)! I installed the latest version 3.1 and it provides excellent USB supports in both my Windows XP SP2 and W2003 virtual machines: ttested with USB Wifi, USB TV dongle, USB stick ... your scanner should have no issue: USB DTV High Definition mode is normally a pretty demanding application!
