Nikon lens 35-70 af zoom ring stuck

This is not a do-it-yourself type of repair. If you try to do any disassembly of the lens yourself, you will end up with a table full of parts you will not be able to properly reassemble and it will cost twice as much to have it fixed. Send the lens to Nikon or a professional camera repair man.

The Zoom ring maybe stuck on something, or not aligned properly Try sending it to PhotoTech Repair Service in NYC. They are Nikon authorized, and can do the repair under warranty if you still have it. Also if you join they're facebook page, they will give you a 10% discount.

Kodak Easy Share LS443

hi there

the error is the zoom lens is stuck
there is a ring at the base of the camere which gets dirt in it and makes the zoom stick
can be repaired by most camera shops as it only needs about 5 screws removing to clean the ring
do not send it back to kodak because they will rip you off.

hope this helps

Can not zoom in zoom out

Hey megsal,
I have included a link to the manufacturers’ website that shows all their repair facilities by state and it has phone numbers for each one of them. I do know that the manufacturer usually requires proof of purchase from whatever retailer that sold the camera to you. I hope this helps!

Zoom ring on 18-55 mm lens is locked/stuck

Are you sure it's the zoom ring that's stuck, and not the focus ring? The focus ring doesn't move when the camera is in autofocus.
If it's indeed the zoom ring that's stuck, you can spend more money than the lens is worth in repairs, or buy a replacement (circa 35 dollars on ebay) for dreadfully cheap. Good luck.

Quantaray 28-90 for Nikon N65 zoom ring locked up

There is no secret locking switch. If a little gentle jiggling doesn't free the zoom ring, then I can only suggest you take it in to a reputable camera shop for a Clean-Lubricate-Adjust (CLA).
