Casioik90tv wont work trough power

Try putting guitar trough the FX Loop, if there is still no sound, you may have a problem with the Power Supply.

to do a factory reset you Turn the Keyboard off the press and HOLD TONE AND FUNCTION and power the keyboard on while holding them buttons. if you did it right you'll see some wierd start up and flashes and then everything will be back to normal. try a few times if at first it doesn't work. somtimes it's picky.

Check your power connection... sounds like the power input MAY be turning off for a fraction of a second.

Likely the switch contact that connects the battery when you remove the adapter is not making contact. This is a common problem. The problem is right at the input power connector. Sometimes you can bend the contact to restore operation... else you have to replace the input power connector.

The battery needs to be charged before it will work in your keyboard. Maybe, the battery is out of charge that's why your keyboard is not working.

You need the wire to turn on the keyboard and at the same time to charge the battery. If the battery is already full, you can remove the wire and the keyboard will still work until the power in the battery is drained out.

Check battery direction. Also if the unit can use a power adapter, sometimes the contact in the connector for the adapter that connects the battery when the adapter plug is out fails to contact and connect the battery.

If the hum is observable in headphones, then it is likely a power supply problem, usually a dried out electrolytic filter capacitor.

This sounds like a problemn the power supply area, possibly near the filter caps. I would look for a cold soldering joint at or near the filter caps as a start.

The problem is a mechanical connection problem since vibration "fixes it".

Capacitors are heavy and often due to handling the soldering is broken at the terminals. As unit heats, these start to oxidize and break contact, but vibration temporarily restores them.

If you are using battery power, the answer is to try a new battery.

If you have an adapter for power, make SURE you are using the right one.

Make sure the in and out cables are connected correctely.

A subtle problem can be a bad power inut plug.
