Hi, E:91:01 is an error code that indicates problem with flash circuit that is defective. Replace flash circuit in camera to fix this problem. Let me know if you need part number info of flash circuit for DSC-W90 or take camera to local camera repair shop to replace flash circuit board. Thanks.
Go to Menu/ Home and initialize camera to reset it for factory default settings to fix flash light settings bug. If problem still not solved, let me know do you see any error code flashing in top right corner of lcd?
depending on what mode you have the camera in, you should be able to turn it on by pressing the button that looks like a lightning bolt with a downward facing arrow. if that doesn't work it will almost certainly be in a mode that doesn't use the flash.
Hi, Set jog dial on Auto (green mark) and press flash button (left button of navigation buttons) to set flash mode i-e auto, synchro, off etc. Below image shows flash button in navigation buttons.
I had the same problem. Somehow my flash was set on "SL - Keep subjects and distant backgrounds bright." When I changed the flash to "Auto", it seemed to get rid of the blurry pictures.
