Yes! Just be sure to use the remote, and when you enter "General" features... Look for recording, or Dubbing. Under dubbing... It should allow you to choose which way you wan the recording to go. For example, VHS>DVD or DVD>VHS... Then, install the blank in one side, the movie in the other, and hit the "Dubbing" RECORD button. this should work.
