Hi, is this a problem for you to scan the manual for this hand stapler and send to me to [email protected]? thanks in advance:)

I have the same stapler from Lydl....I bought some 8mm Stanley staples from BQ,heavy guage, but they were too narrowbyabot 1mm and jammed the stapler! I returned to B&Q with the stapler, and they replaced the staples with a box of light guage Staney 8mm staples..These too were no good as sometimes 1 came out, but bent ! or 2 together would come halfway out and jam the stapler !! I am going to try a cheap make next.. maybe Wickes own brand...If that fails to work, I will be on to Lydls for a refund !

I too can not get any staples to fit my Powerfix Profi stapler model no. Z16531. Are there any staples out there that would fit?

Hi Bob2002, The same happened to me. I bought one from Lidl in Malta, and could'nt find staples for it. I bought others and yes they started to be jammed. When I went to buy from a agent he told me not to buy from Lidl again.

The same happened to, bob2002, I bought from Lidl Malta and bought other staples and started to be jammed. A salesman in an other firm told not to buy tools from Lidl, and that's what I did.

Go to eBay, search for Fixman Staples. You'll get exactly what you need, They have lengths from 6mm to 18mm (probably more) cheaper than the local diy store too. I paid 2.50 plus postage for 5000. No problems with them. Guy at my local hardware warehouse told me you can't get staples for powerfix too. Won't be shopping there again.

Go to eBay, search fixman staples £2.50 per 5000 plus postage. Made for the powerfix stapler.

You can use about any replacement staples from a D.I.Y. store:
8mm staples or 12mm U-type staples or 10mm T-type nails

The problem is finding 8mm staples of exactly the correct width. This needs to be between 11.2mm and 11.5mm. Any idea where these can be obtained?

I don't know if you found any Leslie but they have them here:http://www.axminster.co.uk/20-gauge-wide...

Search Google for "METAL STAPLE GUN STAPLES 10mm x 11.3mm x 1.2mm"

It comes back with Am-Tech staples available at:
http://www.kozy-homes.co.uk/products/09554-01,1000-metal-staple-gun-staples-10mm-x-11-3mm-x-1-2mm

These staple dimensions fit those given on the side of the stapler and in the manual.

Kozy-Homes also have an eBay shop and the price may be cheaper there.

TACWISE 140 series 8mm "Heavy Duty" staples work brilliantly. They have to be the heavy duty for this gun. They are commonly sold anywhere. Toolstation (Like Wickes, a Travis Perkins company) under item code 66661; £6.00 odd for 5000 staples, a bargain to boot! Martin

What size staples do I need for the Rapid Isaberg 16 stapler [prob 40/50 years old but still works superbly]

The Rapid Isaberg 16 stapler uses 26/6 size staples. These staples are also commonly referred to as "standard staples" and are widely available at most office supply stores or online retailers. They measure approximately 6mm wide and 11mm in length, and are compatible with a wide range of staplers, including the Rapid Isaberg 16. Be sure to use high-quality staples to ensure that your stapler functions properly and staples securely.
