you need to general service the whole unit. this will include re-soldering and changing some defective components from the board, which has been damaged through using from past years. my advice is to have a quotation from service tech and then think about repairing it..if it is better to buy a new one..

This seems to be a problem of the Invertor or powersupply board.If you are technically able check the boards visually,look for bulging discoloured capacitors. Try replacing these components it may solve your problem.

Three blinking lights indicates a lamp problem. This can be from A) a bad lamp, B) bad ballast C) bad Light Engine/DMD Board. Try replacing the bulb first. As with any lamps, it has a limited life. If that doesn't work, you can try the ballast next. If that doesn't work, it's time to take it in to a certified repair center for diagnostics. Got the same problem, happened yesterday for me, Did some research and it looks like its bad capacitors in the back, check out this page for more information... i'm taking mine to an electrician to fix today... luckily he's related and should be able to fix it on the cheap...
