if you dont know, click here. choose your operating system(os) that you use now(current os)

can you see it?. Icon with yellow color in question mark that your hardware have problem with driver. Try to right click and once window will pop up.
Find driver tab. And update, It will need more time depending your pc/laptop.

tell me the model of ur gateway laptop if u have firewire port 1394 on ur laptop u can easily connect thru cable u have to buy it separately u can go for generic one no need for an expensive branded one just check the connector type on both sides is it 4 pins or 8 pins pls let me know with details ur cam have firewire port i know but ur laptop i am not sure abt it pls tell me the model of laptop

if u dont have 1394 port on laptop then u have to buy a express card which have firewire 1394 connector or pcmcia card i dont know which card ur laptop supports after u tell me the model i can help

You dont need worry about it. The powerjack can be easily replaced.. You can visit your laptop's support site for a replacement jack and it should cost you about 20$. If you can provide me the model number and brand of your laptop i might be able to help you find it.Good luck!

teh exact model no is written on backside of your laptop with serial no and other stuff so find model no and find drivers according to that
