If the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these inverter-based models.

Panasonic microwave combi oven model nn a772 sbbpq. I set the microwave for 12 minutes but forgot to put the meal in. It now works for a few seconds then stops. Any help would be appreciated

A thermal cutout on many ovens is black with two terminals. It's usually held in place by a bracket and one or two screws. Many ovens now use a thermistor instead of a cutout on the magnetron.

Based on the symptoms you describe, it seems unlikely either would be the cause of the problem. If a microwave is run empty, the magnetron will draw excessive current. The excessive current can take out the magnetron, high voltage rectifier, high voltage capacitor, fuse, or a few other components. If this is an inverter oven, check for a fault code of "H98" or something similar. That would indicate a problem with the inverter board, or something else in the high voltage circuit.

My turntable on Panasonic NNA883W combi oven has stopped working is it easy to fix it just freely turns with no resistance

Usually underneath the plate is a square or triangular spigot which should fit into the plate recess these are usually plastic but some are ceramic in combi ovens and are prone to breaking.if you can't lift out the spigot from inside oven to inspect...then you may need to gain access the the bottom of microwave.always disconnect appliances from power supply before removal of internal/external parts.

I have a neff combi microwave oven and it stops working after 20 seconds and doesn't heat the food

It is one of three things, the microwave oven, "heart of the system" inverter board, "if less than 7 years old" and the keypad control board. all parts mentioned are not cheap.

My panasonic nna770s combi microwave cuts out after 3 seconds during this time the turntable doesn't turn, any ideas?

See if this describes what's happening:
  • Put in time, push start and unit runs for 2 seconds, relay clicks, unit goes off. Cook time on display goes off and clock time comes back. Bad upper interlock switch and charred connector
If so, see http://www.microwavedisplay.com/safety.txt , http://www.microwavedisplay.com/disassembly.txt and http://www.microwavedisplay.com/doorsw.txt

Otherwise, if the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

It may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of those components has failed.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Panasonic Microwave Problem

Even though these are different symptoms, the same part may be causing both.

If the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle.

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

Panasonic NN-CS596S Convection Combi Steam Oven

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

Let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

If you do indeed have a problem, Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.
