there is problem with windows OS

u have to reinstall wondows befor you go for reinstall just tak backup from you C drive

I think some of booting files missing..... due to virus affected . so insert the Xp os cd and repair it... after that scan ur computer with good antivirus .......

try this...clean ur registry....
use Tuneup Utility

hi,
when you start your system you will always get a message on first screen del /f2 to go to setup , so press del/F2 and enter setup and here look for boot sequence and change the first boot device to optical media ie. cd/dvd then save and exit

now follow help article at the link here to be able to boot your windows

and after that you will need to again set the primary/first boot device to again your hard disk

Hi there.
Turn on the computer and press the [F8] key during the POST procedure. this will take you to a sub menu where you can choose to boot into safe mode.

One of an important file needed to boot up your laptop, or your hardware is loose. Try taking out the ram and putting it back in.
