Hello there and welcome to Fixya :
No there is nothing wrong with your player the message you are receiving is telling you that the format of the disk is of the wrong format and the player can not play that type of format.
Normally when a disk is coppied it is done in a certain type of format whether it be wmp or mda or somthing like this there are several different types out there. so if you have a player that takes only a certain type of formattted disk you will need to format the disk to that type of format before it can play. ok
Hope this helps i can help you more if needed ok
Best regards Mike

My Emerson DVD player says Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc

The error message "Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc" can have a few different causes. Here are some of the most common:
  • The disc is not compatible with the DVD player. Some DVD players are only compatible with certain regions or formats of discs. If the disc you are trying to play is not compatible with your DVD player, you will get this error message.
  • The disc is damaged. If the disc is scratched, dirty, or otherwise damaged, it may not be able to be read by the DVD player.
  • The DVD player is faulty. If the DVD player is faulty, it may not be able to read discs correctly.
Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:
  • Try playing the disc in another DVD player. If the disc plays in another DVD player, then the problem is with your DVD player.
  • Clean the disc. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the disc. Be careful not to scratch the disc.
  • Format the disc. If the disc is formatted for a different region or format, you may need to format it for your DVD player.
  • Reset the DVD player. If the DVD player is faulty, you may need to reset it.
If you have tried all of these things and you are still getting the error message, then you may need to replace the DVD player.

Got a display message "Reduced Engine Power" the

When you receive this message it means that the computer has put the engine and components into protection mode. This computer has done this to prevent any further damage to the engine or transmission. You have to have the computer of the vehicle scanned to find the problem then you need to get it fixed right away. It could be a number of different causes overheating,Low Oil Pressure,Transmission pump problem, low coolant level, low oil level. Their is really no way of telling from this end without seeing the vehicle.Start by checking all fluid levels, Oil,Coolant,Transmission. If all this is good scan the computer with a OBII scanner or take it to a garage and get it scanned. It may just be something simple or it could be something very serious.Do not drive the vehicle it is worth the cost of a tow truck to prevent further damge if you can not determind the cause and fix it yourself.
