Remote won't turn on tv, and power switch on front of tv won't turn on tv. All I can hear is clicking noise from back of tv and when I hold button in, the light just blinks. Do you think my button is bad or maybe the power switch itself?

the tv need for servicing, the cause is either bad regulator transistor in the power supply section or shorted horizontal output transistor. that is why the main circuit board doesn't get to turn on. to do the repair just ensure you have knowledge in repairing tv.
Powering up do you hear the relay click then you may see the display flash (not necessarily), but then the TV clicks back into standby mode. If so there is a component failure.
will need diagnosis by a repair shop. Too many different components it could be for me to guess. but
the common repair kit containes1 fuse (F302), 1 diode (D304), the power resistors (R927 and R929 for the board revisions with these two resistors) and the IC301 voltage regulator IC.

most times then not it's the capacitors on your power board that blew there for not supplying the tv with enough power if you open it up and check the capacitors it should be leaking some kind of liquid or the tops have bubbled up. its an easy fix cost>>2 dollars each

Solution1:
a)Inside the tv there are microswitch CH+- Vol +- power, menu: when the ones are faulty," tv tends to behave at its own", change them, of course before to buy'em, unsolder th'em and try with the remote, tv has to work with out'em.
Generally, if a Plasma Tv is not coming out of standby, it means either the main board is faulty (most likely case) or Power Supply Board is not giving enough power to Main board to switch on the TV. In your case, I think it's the main board (aka Motherboard). Sometimes it's hard to tell to whether ceremic fuses are blown off by looking at them, so it's best to check with a multimeter. Check the fuses in the PSU and also whether it's outputing correct voltages. Also, can you hear a clicking noise right after you've switched on the TV or pressed the power button in the remote to make the Tv go from standby to ON. A clicking noise means one of the boards is shorting out. In your case, I don't think you'd hear a shorting out clicking noise, and I think replacing the Main board will get you out of standby.
