Try the following to resolve this issue.

1. Check if same issue appears when using your Artisan 800 as a standalone copy machine.

2. Try printing from a different application to isolate the issue further. You can also print a windows test page to check if this issue is caused by the application that you are printing from or by the printer driver.

3. Reinstall Printer Driver.

My Epson Artisan 810 prints horizonal light blue lines on all printed materials. How to remove the blue lines?

To resolve this issue, you need to print a nozzle check pattern and then determine if print head cleanning is need.
To print nozzle check, follow the steps below.
  1. Turn off the Artisan Series and your computer, if connected.
  2. Disconnect any connected USB cables.
  3. Load plain paper in the main tray.
  4. Press the On button to turn the Artisan 800 Series on again.
  5. Press Setup.
  6. Select Maintenance.
  7. Select Nozzle Check.
  8. Press Start.
  9. The Artisan Series begins printing the nozzle check pattern.
  10. If there are no gaps, select Finish Nozzle Check.
If there are gaps, select Head Cleaning.
If the nozzle check pattern page prints correctly, the problem may be with your software settings, the interface cable, or your computer.

My Epson 800 prints crooked. Everything leans to the right. Resetting the paper helps, but I have yet to get it straight. Any suggestions??

It appears that the paper feed rollers is not functioning properly. Check it with Epson if your printer is still underwarranty, or send your printer to the nearest Service Center for repair.

My Artisan 800 only prints the top inch of the page - the rest of the page is blank. This is true regardless of the function: print or copy or fax, so I don't think it's related to the computer. Ink...

My Artisan 800 was doing this and I realized it was because I was using three hole punched paper. I think the printer sees the top hole and thinks the paper has run out and cancels the rest of the page. Big engineering goof Epson.

I have problems printing on Epson photo paper - it occasionally prints, but more often it can't pull it through. What should I do?

What type of paper are you using? The printer actually was calibrated with Epson papers, so it might not like your paper. Try using Epson papers.

Try removing the rear duplexer unit and see if there may be something in the way. You will be able to see if the tray is flush to the end.

Epson artisan 800 wont print to a transparency

OK so i tricked my 810 into printing on a transparency. NOT that I recommend doing this ... but .... I took four pieces of clear tape and taped the top (where it goes into the printer) and on each side about three inches from the top.

Then I put it in the tray with the transparency on the bottom of the paper -- since it brings it up thru the printer and flips it over, it prints right onto the transparency !!!

It didn't like it the first time, since I just folded over the tape on the end that gets sucked into the printer first. Hence the added stabilizers on each side.
