I had deleted the songs off of the MP3 first, but now when I try to download new songs onto the MP3 by synchronization from Windows Media Player, the songs don't show up on the MP3 when I disconnects it from the computer. The MP3 screen says NO DATA. Please help me!!
Donot synchronie ur file with wmp just copy paste the song on to ur device
when copy pasting does the file completely gets copied on to ur device or does a message pops up and the copying stops.
when disconnecting ur mp3 player do u disconnect it in the proprer way which is by rightclicking on the icon in the right side of the window or do u directly disconnect it from the pc.let me know how do u disconnect ur mp3 player.u can even try uninstalling and then reinstalling the drivers which came with ur product if the driver cd came bundled with any paqrticular software to transfer files from pc to device then u should use that software and then see.if any any of this doesnot work try scanning the mp3 player with agodd anti virus with latest virus definatiuon try norton internet security 2009.if there is no virus then try formatting ur device by rightclicking on the icon which appers on my computer when u plug ur device and t hen format if it doesnot work go to sony websit and try upgrading ur mp3 firmware to the latest version .u can even mail sony about ur problem which u can find from there website
have i tried the remaining things which i told u in my previous comment

That did not work
the file completely gets copied according to the computer, but when I disconnect the MP3 from the computer to check if there are songs on it, it says NO DATA.
I always diconnect it properly. I never just pull it out.
i deleted my old songs to put new ones on to, but it says no data. why is it doing this?
