Canon has the manuals for the PowerShot SD600 on the product site: http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_sd_series/powershot_sd600#BrochuresAndManuals . Expand the section labeled Guides and Manuals and click on the download link on the right to get the manual you want. There is a basic and advanced manual for using the camera as well as manuals for the software. I need to download pictures from Canon SD600 and lost printer cd

Connect the Camera to PC using the supplied USB cable, for windows XP and later versions the pc will identify the camera device and pop-up a window asking for "what to do next?"
Select copy pictures from camera from the displayed list.

You can also download the manual in PDF format directly from Canons website.
