You have to get a small phillips screwdriver for this. The hardest part is the first part: there are four screws under the battery as well as two hidden screws under the sticker that has the model number on it. In order to get the back off, you must pry it off: you need to slide the phone up to reveal the qwerty keyboard and use a small flathead screwdriver to pry around the edges of the keyboard and all the way up. This is quite a task and you need to be pretty forceful because they've really stuck that thing on there. It might seem like you're breaking the plastic, but when I did it, I didn't break anything, the clasps are just really strong.
Once you get that back off, it gets easier. There are two screws on the top corners of the first layer, unscrew those. There is a copper colored ribbon about a centimeter wide on the middle right side that attaches. You need to remove this in order to get to the next layer. Simply use your fingernail to lift up the flat part from the side. BE GENTLE WHEN HANDLING THE RIBBONS. THEY ARE VERY FRAGILE. This ribbon connects the board to the qwerty keyboard. If you damage it, that part of the phone is ruined.
When you lift up that board, you will notice is still attached to another ribbon on the back. This ribbon connects the battery and board to the front part of the phone. It needs to be long so that the phone can slide. You can remove this ribbon with your fingernail as well. AGAIN, BE GENTLE.
Next there are three screws along each side, total 6. Remove these and you will have completely detached the front and back parts of the phone. There are 6 more screws that need to be removed to open the front part of the phone. Once removed, you will need to pop off the back. You will notice again that the long ribbon goes through this piece. The silver metal piece is the sliding mechanism. Slide this down and gently pull the ribbon through to the other side.
The LCD screen and board should fallt out without removing any screws. BE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE LCD SCREEN: THERE IS A THIN DELICATE RIBBON THAT ATTACHES THE SCREEN TO THE BOARD. IF THIS RIBBON IS DAMAGED, YOU WILL HAVE A WHITE SCREEN. Next the front keypad should come right off, and you will be left with the front plastic piece. You've disassembled the whole phone!!
Fan should not be rubbing up against anything. I don't think the fan is secured properly to the motor shaft. Tighten down the metal clip that holds the fan onto the shaft. Make sure it's not back too far.
I think it means the waste tank, that's usually on the right hand side under where the cartridges park. You havent stated a make or model for your printer so I don't know exactly.
1. power down the printer. 2. remove all color cartridges from their slots. 3. inside the color slot, you will see a green slide that will not move until you pick up the plastic cover (it is the full length of the cartridge holder). 4. rotate the plastic cover forward. 5. slide the green slide 3 or 4 times. (DO NOT TOUCH SMALL WIRES!) 6. return slide to original position. 7. snap the plastic cover back in place 8. return each color cartridge to it's slot. 9. replace color cartridge holder back to printer. 10. close all covers 11. turn printer back on.
If you still get the "move green slide" error, just repeat these steps
This took me about 10 minutes for the process, after understanding what the "green slide" meant. -->
1. power down the printer.
2. remove all color cartridges from their slots.

Turn off and unplug the printer and slide the cartridge carriage over by hand. You could remove the cartridges. Then after reconnecting the cable, slide carrier back by hand and reconnect the power.
On the backside of the connector where the ribbon goes there is a small strip of plastic there.LIFT IT UP ON BOTH ENDS,SLIDE THE RIBBON DOWN INTO IT.WHILE THE RIBBON IS IN IT,PUSH THE STRIP OF PLASTIC BACK DOWN MAKING SURE THE RIBBON STAYS IN PLACE (ALL THE WAY DOWN) WHILE PUSHING IT DOWN.You may have to try it a few times to get it snug in the motherboard connection.Good luck!
It sounds like this is the is the position indicator tape. There should be a small hole on both ends of it that fits over a small plastic tab on eich side of the printer. It normally needs to fit in a small **** on the back side of the print carriage.
With the printer turned off & preferably unplugged, gently slide the print carriage to the center of its range of motion. Ensure that this plastic strip is still attached on the opposite end and it feeds through the back of the print carriage. There should be a small tab to attach the free end to similar to what you see on the other end. The strip should be taut but not tight enough to stretch and it should not sag. Exactly where the attach vary somewhat depending on make and model, but they are all similar.
Drive cable is attached in two places. One at the hinge end of the scanner. The other at the control panel end. The hinge end connection is a simple ball-end that slips into the slot. The control end fixing is more complicated. The wire cable at this end has a spring attached. This is fixed to a plastic fitting which clips into place. Look carefully the plastic fitting. Fit the spring over the small peg and take the cable round the radiused part of the plastic fitting. And refit the plastic clip to the scanner body.
Fiddlly but doable.
The cable often comes loose when someone investigates how to take the scanner to pieces. Underneath they see a round pin with a small rectangle on each side. They press the round pin in slide the piece of plastic in the rectangle and hey presto they'll undone the cable. Oooops!!!!!!!!
Hi, if you open the open the printer, unit to gain access to install ink cartridge, if you see the metallic end which has got a hook on both the ends left and right side. the ink cartridge runs between the strip from left to right which should be connected above the ink cartridge meta rod.
< ------------- >metal hooks on left and right above the cartridge rod
