You will have to open your Washing Machine to view the Drum Motor and Drum assembly. It sounds like your belt has broke or is worn out, or your Drum Motor is not turning. If the Drum Motor is not turning, you may have a bad Drum Motor or Motor Control Board. A trained professional should be contacted to perform these repairs if you are unsure about the repair process.

There seems to be water trapped at the top inner drum due to water inlet pouring miss and filling where it shouldnt

The inner basket has a balance ring that is filled with liquid by design. Suspension parts are most likely causing your problem

Started filling, made a loud noise, stopped filling immediately, door wouldn't open. I tried everything to get it to open. Running the spin cycle finally got the door open at the end of the cycle, though...

The washer drain the water if you put on spin. all electronically controlled washer won't unlock the door and or spin if there's water inside the water has to be drained out first. If the basket didn't move(no motor movement) and it finished the cycle, POSSIBLE problem is the motor control board. I have a maytag LSE7806AEE that stopped after filling the washing machine with water. I have tried everything to get it started but it will not respond.

since you can get water going, power is ok. Once water is filled, it should start automatically. Sine the drum is not moving to wash the load, it is down to drum mechanism. BTW if you manually move the knob to spin what happens?

Machine will fill and turn slowly but will not

Check motor capacitor first.Try moving the drum and see there is no extra friction. If your washer has got braking mechanism check the brakes also. ( I have no idea about this model regarding break)

My washer fills up, but not inside the machine. If I put the machine on spin, the water drains out. Why won't it fill inside the machine?

The water is going into the machine, but somewhere below the inside drum. I can hear it sloshing around if I move the inside drum. If I put it on the spin cycle, it does not spin, but the water comes out of the hose and into the sink.

WMA54 Hotpoint Aquarius drum does not turn during wash or spin

If the machine pumps water inside but does not start :

Start checking the lid switch, if this is stuck the machine wont start.

If the drum does not move at all, the motor, the motor control unit, the motor coupler, the control board may be faulty.

For more details , see: It doesn't spin
