Hello
www.manualowl.com/p/Panasonic/KX-TS208W/Manual/14627
Get into this site. You can download the user manual for your KX-TS208W phone. The manual contains all details about its programming. if you feel any difficulty in downloading the same, send your Email address to me by Fixya. I've the manual to your phone, and I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. I can't send the same to you by this window, as it does not allow me to upload PDF files by it. OK.

Stored numbers/using *xx to dial a number

You need to go into the programming mode and re-program the speed dealing, which is stored centrally on the CPU, I have one of these systems in my loft. Remember all programming must be done from a systepnone/handset.

Line indicator lights no longer work on Panasonic KX-TS208W

If the line indicator lights worked before changing the batteries, check the polarity of the new batteries. The lights should only come on when the line is in use by someone else.

I've followed the instructions to change the names of the extension numbers but when I press PROG ** it just beeps at me and then goes into normal programming mode, rather than manager programming...

Keep pressing PROG ** until you find the phone that doesn't beep. In a basic TDA system, it's the first extension (101) that is the default master phone.

Hi, I have a panasonic kx-t7633. we can dial all the numbers but not those starting by 76 which is the code for mobile phones. How can I assign the line 4 to dial these numbers?.

It's not magic. You need to program several things that require installer access. In your features manual, look up COS and TRS (Class of Service and Toll Restriction). It's probably already in your system and you need to modify the programming to make it work. Another feature called ARS would possibly be in order, then, you dial 9 and the number and the programming would sort it out.

Needless to say, it's beyond the scope of a free forum to do specific programming on your system.

Please email me instructions on how to programme extension numbers into my phone

Nah, post here, read here. From the phone press PROGRAM 99 and press the button you want to program. It needs to have a light. Dial 1 + ext and STORE. You can program more buttons or just pick up the handset and drop it back down to exit programming.

Can we make it so the phone can receive calls but not make out going calls?

You can, but you need access to Installer level programming. I'm not going to give you detailed instructions here, because any fool can do the reverse and UNrestrict a phone with the same instructions, but system program 500 and 501 sets day and night restrictions on a phone. Setting the COS to 7 lets the phone dial 0, intercom, and, by programming, System speed dial numbers.
COS 8 allows Operator only (internal operator).

By building tables, you can actually program different restrictions and exceptions for COS 2-6. There's a fairly comprehensive discussion in the Panasonic Features Manual of your TD 816/1232 manual.

I am looking for the programming overlay for a Panasonic KX-T7431 phone. Thanks,Rob

I don't have the overlay, but if you download the user manual, under User Programming Instructions (Page 3-3 in mine) it explains where and what the programming buttons are.
