Blender stopped working... tried to restart it after 20 mins... no luck. Is there a fuse I can replace?

Well it might just be over heated, let it cool for approx 20 minutes then restart if it doesn't then u may try switching electrical outlets, if that doesn't work then it needs to be replaced. I hope that this helps, if not please let me know and i will try and help you out as much as i can.

Hello, we stored the blender in a box w. the jar on the base and now the jar is stuck on the base...anything that might help?
1) Vinegar - apply vinegar to a rag and apply to any exposed areas - use a q-tip to dribble vinegar into hard-to-reach places. Let a cup of vinegar sit in jar itself. After 20 minutes, try to remove.

2) Hot Water in blender jar.

3) Freezer - don't let it sit too long - 10 mins tops - last resort.

My nblender just stop working, power in was good, no reaction.
Switch must be bad, remove the four screws on the bottom they are under the feet, then check switches, and replace broken one.

Received the Breville Ikon 600 blender as a Christmas present in 2006 and have used it 3 times, with the third time being this past weekend. The product is now out of warranty and low and behold, it...
My IKON 600 Blender fuse had blown. It was located on the circuit board and can be found by removing the bottom of the blender. Fuse is Fast Blow 10A, metric 5mmx20mm. The fuse blew because the bearing in the bse of the jar froze. Bearing # 608-RS. The beraring froze because the seal in the base of the jar was leaking. Solution: Clean seak surfaces, replace bearing and fuse. Total cost of $6 with my labor.

Motor works and then gets sluggish and slow
WELL, WHEN YOU UNPLUUGED THE BLENDER, AND RESTARTED IT - DID IT WORK. iF IT DID THEN IT MEANS THAT IT HAPPENED MIGHT BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT BEEN USINGTHE BLENDER OFTEN.

bUT IF ITIT MAKES THE SOUNG AFAIN THAT THE MOTO OR WHERE THE CORD IS- SOME WATER MUST HAVE GONE INSIDE. IT IS BEETER OF YOU TO CHANGE THE BLENDER BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS WRITTEN IN THE HANDBOOK THAT IF IT MAKES ANY KIND OF AEEFUL SOUND OTHER THAN THE NORMAL SOUND- STOP USING IT IMMEDIATLY.

Hi , Try to check with multi tester the power cord ,test the two tips of male outlet switch on tested read the continuity /if not reading ,pulout if push type /if permanent open cover below test the test the cord inside to the male plug if does not response cord is problem,check also fuse test both end of fuse not reading fuse buste then replace thats all goodluck.

Blender problem
Yes there is, however unless you are very mechinal incline I won't suggest that you try to replace the defective terminal fuse. This is cause by running your blender continuous. Let me know if you are welling to do the repairs yourself, so that I can give you the directions. Sign, Spurs21

Thermal cut off fuse replacement
I worked for sunbeam and they were 10amps there. dont go to high because u start a fire ..also while you replace it look for darker or blacking field wires..all wires should look good. but hard to start a fire when u got your finger close to off the button at most it will do is slow down and stop ...smoke...time for new blender then.
