yes it has a thermal fuse inside, small as an aspirin rated at 8-10 amps about $ 5.00 us we have replaced most with a reset button circuit breaker , best idea I came up with for $ 12.00 us
Yes, the JEX328 is the same machine as the WE100PC. All the external parts (the ones you can replace yourself) are the same from model to model. Having inspected both machines and checked parts lists (excluding internal parts), Any part number that fits one will fit the other. There are probably no differences inside the units, truth be told.
Bought an open box Waring JEX 328 from Linens and Things (going out of business so need to return quick if it is defective) and plugged it in and nothing happened! So now trying to figure out if all pieces are in their correct place. There are two small plastic pieces that seem to go together a smaller angled black piece and a long light plastic piece. Any thoughts? Is there an auto kill switch on these if something is not assembled right?
I had the same problem...I just acquired the WE100PC without any owners manual. I called WARING's toll free number and they are sending me the manual...no charge. Give them a call! (1-800-492-7464....prompt #1)
