Your screen dosnt display anything?I am not quite sure what your asking but ill take a crack at it anyway.you changed the housing and when you put the phone back together the lcd stoped working,if this is the case you either disconnected your lcd or you damaged the flex cable to the lcd, either way you need to open your phone back up just the top part where the lcd is,you should beable to see the flex cable coming from the phone to the lcd if it looks connected disconect and reconnect and try it if this does not work you may need a new flex cable wich means that you may have to get a whole new keypad cause the flex cable usually only disconnects from one side, well good luck

Nokia 6131, front/internal screen light up but don't display

Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
You can find displays for fair price at :

This link will help you with re-assembly. I had the same snag. A GENTLE adjustment of the speaker contacts fixed the problem with sound. Use the above link to check your display connections.

Main screen not desplaying when I open up my Nokia 6131

Try turning the phone on with the flip screen open. Do it a couple of times if it doesn't work the first time.

Print Qualityfor DC12

I am not 100 percent what you are asking but I will answer the best I can with your question.
  1. Press the [Administration] button located above the numeric keypad on the Control Panel. The Administration button has a wrench symbol located above it. The Access screen will be displayed.
  2. Select [Tools] on the Touch Screen. The Tools Access Number screen will be displayed.
  3. Enter your numeric password using the keypad.

NOTE: If you do not know the password, contact your administrator. The initial password at machine install is 11111.

If the administrator encounters a problem with changing or forgetting the machine password, a service call must be placed:

  4. Select [Enter] on the Touch Screen. The Tools screen will be displayed.
  5. Select [System Image Quality]. The System Image Quality screen will be displayed.
  6. Select [Image Recognition]. The Image Recognition screen will be displayed.
  7. Select 'Screening Adjustment' by selecting the [Up] or [Down] arrow buttons.
  8. Select [Change Settings]. The Screening Adjustment screen will be displayed.
  9. Select [Apply to Copies Only] then select [Save]. The Screening Adjustment screen will be displayed.
  10. Select [Close]. The System Image Quality screen will be displayed.
  11. Select [Auto Screening Adjust]. The Auto Screening Adjust screen will be displayed.
  12. Select [Halftone Screen]. The Halftone Screen will be displayed.
  13. Select either [Halftone 200 line screen] or [Photograph 200 dpi].

NOTE: Do not select 'Printer use' as this will effect print calibration; which will be handled directly by the color server set up to print to the copier / printer.

  14. Select [Save]. The Auto Screening Adjust screen will be displayed.
  15. Insert at least 2 sheets of white, 216 mm x 279 mm (Letter, 8.5 x 11 inch) paper in Paper Tray 5 (Bypass Tray).
  16. Select [Print Test Original] to print a sample of the settings. The message 'Please wait…Printing test original' will be displayed and the test original will print.

NOTE: If selecting [Print Test Original] displays the message ‘System Disabled' then Screening Adjustment is disabled. Select [Close] and repeat steps 5 to 16.

  17. Open the Document Glass Cover.
  18. Place the test original face-down on the Document Glass with the two magenta squares against the left edge of the glass.
  19. Place 5 sheets of blank white paper directly on top of the test original.
  20. Close the Document Glass Cover.
  21. Select [Start Adjustment] from the Touch Screen. The message 'Please wait….Adjustment in progress' will be displayed, then the Auto Screening Adjust screen will be displayed.
  22. Select [Adjustment Complete]. The message 'Please wait…Printing current settings' will be displayed and the adjusted original will be printed.
  23. Examine the adjusted original to make sure the image quality is satisfactory and continue to the next step. If the image quality is not satisfactory repeat steps 12 through 22.
  24. Select [Close]. The System Image Quality screen will be displayed.
  25. Select [Close]. The Tools screen will be displayed.
  26. Select [Close]. The default copy screen will be displayed
