[1] Switch your television on

[2] Point the remote control towards the
television

[3] Press and hold the TV POWER button, and

then enter the two-figure code in the table

to the right that corresponds to the brand of

your television by pressing the appropriate

number buttons.

If your television is compatible with the remote

control, it will switch off.

The remote is now programmed to operate
the TV.
The code for Zenith TV is [TV POWER + 63]

This brand is ok,it have it problems just like any other
Plasma tv brand.The only thing is Zenith tv is not a popular tv brand of tv anymore.Have very limited refurbishable boards parts to buy for the tv replacement.

If no little switch on back, it must be a selection in the setup menu.

Get the part number of the switch and they may be able to do a cross reference of the part.

the problem of your TV maybe on the miniture switch and in the loose parts inside.First try to resolder all the loose parts.and if it still a problem then you will have to pull out the miniature switch and replace it.

Caps in the relay circuit lost value....capacitors in and around the relay need to be checked and or changed....

It's a Zenith remote, MBR 3440 is the model #, 124-202-01 is the part #. To program, press and hold PRG button until red light stays on, press TV,AUX etc, enter 3 digit code (www.xdiv.com) press Enter.

sounds like the flyback transformer is bad would need to change the supply module 6871VPM997D approx $175.00 or replacement of flyback T403 and part number 6174Z-6400B runs 49.27 but would require soldnering skills
