If the rest of the set works fine then it is possible that the front end of the tuner is faulty. can be failure of the RF section , a possible failure of voltage to the TUNER/RADIO section . Check also if the logic switch is workingg to switch the TUNER and also if the processor is working to TUNE.

How do I reset it?

Unplug it then replug it in... then power on the unit; then press the "stop", "enter" and the "power" buttons all at once and it will restart in factory default... should fix it

My stereo just cut off while i was listing to it. and now it wont turn back on. and the power button is blinking red.

Try resetting the system to factory defaults

Disconnect the power cord
Reconnect the power cord
Press Stop (Square button), Play Mode/Tuning Mode, AND Disc 1 at the same time
Press I/O(power button) on the system

You will lose your clock and tuner presets.

MHC-EX100AV: Tuner display doesn't work: but the tuner itself works great, just that I can't see anything on the display. I am sure easy to solve but have no clue where to start

change the lightbulb behind the display and it works again. sony repair charges 45 euro for it. you can also put a led and a resistor behind it.

I want to have USb port on my Sony GN100D Hi Fi audio system. Where can i get this done. Number for a specific shop/mechanic would be appreciated.

at present usb drive is not available as a seperate unit but you can use a device that can play tracks from a pendrive connected to it.you audio sytem will recieve the song on fm tuner at the frequency set on the palyer.you can get it from any car stereo shop at 300 -400 rs.
