Hi, I have lost my sound after replacing the hard drive in my computor. I have a AGP8X mother board installed alsp the name ASRock is on the board, can you please help how I can recover the sound. Thank...

AGP8X is not the model thats just what is written next to where the graphics card plugs in. Take another good look and repost your question and it will be solved. Its just the sound driver missing and if youve reloaded windows its quite possible other drivers may be missing. When you find model number you can try and download yourself from http://www.asrock.com/support/download.asp good luck and cheers from Scott

Cant reinstall the sound card driver of ecs elitegroup w341ui

The reformatting of the hard drive may not remove all elements of a virus, depends on the type. It may be able to hide in any case.
The best way to get rid of viruses on computers is to keep updated software which will scan all the time for viruses. If this is a Windows computer, going to safe mode and running the anti virus software will get rid of viruses. Another thing to remember is that the virus can get on to the computer hard drive again if you have any disks, cdroms or DVDs which were made when the virus was on it. Almost all viruses will copy itself to any media during infection. It is very important to have up to date software, whether or not you have to pay for it, and many are free.
Not a good idea to put your email on a site like this (any site for that matter).
I am not sure what you mother board is, but if it is "ALiveNF7G-HD720P M/board" with a Nvidia 7050 sound card.
Information you need when you go to the website:
The OS you are installing.
The Motherboard name and model number.
The exact name of the sound card and model number.

Here is a link, since you have not mentioned what your OS is, you can download what you need or email them, you may even be able to call.

Hope it all works out for you.

Problem with the sound with mother board P4i45gx_pe

All the drivers you want are available from the asrock site even though some parts of your motherboard are from other manufacturers the drivers will have been developed to work with the asrock and were probably written by asroc around that board.

http://www.asrock.com/support/download.asp?c=All

you will need to know the board version number and your model is quite a way down the list.from there you can download all the latest drivers for your board.

Asrock p4i45 gv 2.0 usb motherboard sound driver problem

1.Definitely you can get your drivers free.
just go to ur motherboard manufacturing site, click on download section click on drivers, enter mother board number and download the drivers free.
2. If you don't know the motherboard drivers name and exact number then connect to internet, uninstall all the old video and audio drivers. then when pop up window says that new hard driver is found then click it and it will automatically install drivers from net Thanks & Regards Pravin Jha

Cannot boot in Slave mode

i have never heared of any hardrive being able to boot when it is set as slave, as the master is always the 'C' drive from which windows looks for the master boot record. why, if you have only one hard drive is it set as slave?, it doesnt make sense. No hard drive will boot up if there is no jumper cap on it, as the motherboard needs to know which hd is master and has the o.s on it.
