The answer is "Not Much"... they upped the rating for power out and added 1000 to the model number... I don't know of any circuitry difference between them... it would probably be minor. Functionality is the same.

I have a PMP 3000 and 2 B212XL. I want to know how many more B212's or other speakers I can connect to the PMP3000. The current setup lacks power at the moment.

Absolute maximum is two of these per side. The speakers are 8 ohm and two on each of the outputs would be 4 ohms which is the minimum allowed for the amplifier. You will get about 400 Watts RMS per side doing this. Please note that the stated 1200 watts for the amp is the PEAK (fakey) values put forth in all the ads we get now. With 4 total B212XL's you should be able to fill an indoor venue of about 10000 square feet with sound at the OSHA limit.

My pmp froze, tried to reset it but now it wouldn't power up

Your PMP what? Is this a Behringer?... and if so what model?... If it won't power up, for goodness sakes do NOT replace a blown fuse as additional damage usually results. Get it serviced... if under warranty, then exercise the warranty. If it is a BEhringer, then also read my tip on Fixya tips regarding PMP mixers and a hazard of using 1/4 inch plug speaker cables or adapters.

Fuse blown on Europower PMP 3000. Where can I find a 10 Amp 250 V ceramic replacement fuse?

You don't need to use a ceramic fuse if one's not available. You can also use a glass cartridge fuse as well. Just be sure the rating is the same. Be aware, though, that fuses seldom blow on their own. Usually it's because something else has shorted. So don't be surprised if replacing the fuse only results in another blown fuse. Behringer stuff is notoriously cheap and under-protected, so by the time the fuse blows it's usually more trouble than it's worth trying to fix. But maybe you'll be lucky and it will be something simple. Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!

Hi, I'm dealing with a problem on my Mackie ProFX 8 mixer. For no reason that I can discern, I am simply not getting any signal out of the mixer. I've adjusted the appropriate levels and gains,...

Are you getting signal into the mixer? Do the level meters light up?

If so, check your speaker cables. If not, check the mic cables and mics (try with phantom power on and off).

Also, try plugging a speaker into an Aux out to see if you can get level out of that.

Hope that helps...

Not enough sound, im using a pmp 3000 with rhino rh2112 250 watt speakers its up at max and struggling badly at very small venues

The speakers would receive about 250 watts max each from the PMP3000 since they are 8 ohms.
That is quite a bit and should fill a 1000 square foot venue with plenty of sound. The type of program material will affect what sound level you can get to. I would recommend you procure a sound meter and measure the sound level. You should be able to get 90 to 95 DB out of these easily. I use a PMP 3000 with two Peavey 15 inch with horn cabinets and can get 98 DB in a 30 by 40 foot room easily. You need to respect the OSHA sound level limits and a sound meter will help you comply. The 12 inch speakers would probably be too small if you are running a lot of bass through them. Please read my tip on Fixya regarding a hazard of the PMP mixers. Essentially, when using 1/4 inch adapters or plugs from the speakon connections of the PMP's, channel A sleeve or barrel is the hot whereas the tip of channel B is the hot. This is not documented in the user manual and if you inadvertenly ground the sleeve of channel A you will likely blow the amp.

No amp output.amplifier damage

You will have to have it repaired. Also read my tip regarduing the PMP mixer/amps that if you use 1/4 inch cable plugs to speakers, the SLEEVE of channel A is hot, not the tip. It the sleeve shportss to somehing that is ground, goodbye Channel A or more. This is not in the book.

I want to connect two passive b212 and 6 active b215 , i will use two active b215 for monitors ..... i am using a PMP 3000 Please advice, also where can i get a detailed numbered illustrations sheet for...

The passive speakers connect to the main outputs using Speakon connectors on the back.

You will use Balanced connections (TRS) to the main L and R connections on top to the active speakers. Daisy chain 3 active on each of the L and R top connectors.

You can download a user manual if you don't have one.

http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/PMP1000_P0566_M_EN.pdf

ALSO PLEASE read my tip regarding a hazard when using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables on channel "A" in the FIXYA tips for PMP mixers. The barrel of the channel A 1/4 inch is the HOT side of the signal to the speaker instead of the tip.

Fuse and fuse holder needed for Behringer 3000 pmp mixer

Try this Behringer support:

BEHRINGER USA, Inc.
18912 North Creek Parkway, Suite 200
Bothell, WA 98011
Tel.: +1 425 672 0816
Fax: +1 425 673 7647

I just repaired a PMP3000.

A bit of warning on these. Do not let a speaker leads get pulled while powered. They can arc out the power amp causing extensive damage.

If the fuse ever blows do NOT replace the fuse as much more damage will result. Service the unit before using.
