I have a hp 6110. I am getting remove and check cartridge. I have used a brand new cartridge, used cartridge and the last cartridge that worked. It is my b&w cartridge.
This kind of hp printer, have often a specific problem with a cartridge carriage. If you can observe (with a flashlight) inside of cartridge carriage, on the right side of carriage, you can see a small piece of spring made from steel, which is moved from his place, because an broken little piece of plastic.
if you see the spring which is moved, you also may see the hole created by the spring on the electrical contacts of the cartridge carriage.
if you can see the hole... you have a very bad news.
i dont know how much cost the repair of printer, but I tell you, this printer is discontinued.
