SOURCE: My conditioner Sharp CV-P12LX shuts

If you have to reset the plug then its pulling to many amps. If you don't know what else is connected to that particular line (in your breaker box) you might consider using another outlet. Increasing amps. of breaker may not be advisable without consulting an electrician.

Window units do produce water in operation but it normally drips to the outside on the ground. If your unit is tilted too much toward the front making it un level the water can drip to the inside. Change the tilt to the outside.

SOURCE: I have a Sharp portable

Most of these devices have condensate pans that need to be emptied. these can and will shutoff the unit when they become full. i would start to look low in the front maybe behind a removable panel. good luck.

How do I remove plastic housing from Sharp CV-P10MX portable air conditioner to clean dust from inside.

It should be clipped on with a type "S" clip. If there are no screws visible, gently work all sides and pull towards you.
