The batteries are connected in series (6V + 6V+ 6V +6V +6V +6V), Select only two batteries (CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER in series FROM POSITIVE TO NEGATIVE (last two batteries preferred) and run two wires (one black one red) from the positive (red) and the negative (black). purchase two switches one MOMENTARY PUSH BUTTON AND ONE TOGGLE.
