It sounds like the power wire you Son hooked up is not grounded and keeps blowing fuses. Try grounding that wire and make sure its not touching any others to spark and burn out fuses.

98 Jimmy has a power draw it kills the battery within 12 hrs if you pull the 50 amp fuse for the int batt draw goes away any ideas

Yes Steve I do , that fuse supply's power to the I/P fuse block inside the vehicle . It powers AUX/PWR fuse #13 -20amp , RDO/BATT fuse #19 - 15amp ,MIR/LKS fuse #7 - 5amp , CTSY/LP fuse #8 - 15 amp , CIGAR/LTR fuse #2 15 amp , PWR/LKS fuse #14 15 amp , HDLP/SW fuse #1 - 10amp .Do you know where the I/P fuse block is ? You would need to do a parasitic draw test ! This involves hooking up a amp meter in series with the negative battery post an negative battery cable . Pulling each one of these fuses till the battery draw stops ! How To Perform Parasitic Draw Test EricTheCarGuy check out Eric the car guy's video on the subject !

Electrical draw CTSY FUSE

I wonder if the buzzing is coming from the key switch ? (ignition ) . CTSY is always HOT ! you need a wire diagram to see where CTSY wires travel to & from to isolate this draw . I found that the CTSY 20amp fuse is also wired to the parking lights 20A fuse @ fuse block . start there, check all wires, grounds to parking lamps, and switch, it might be your headlight switch thats causing your problem ! replace it and see what happens !

My homelink system keeps blowing the fuse why?

once a fuse is blowing its cause of 2 things..

1.) the device its connected too is pulling more amperage than the fuse is,, for example the fuse is 10 amp but the device pulls 15,, to fix this increase the amperage of the fuse by 5 amps

2.) a wire is grounding off causing a short circuit.. Trace the power wire inspect got breaks or shorting on eighter the body or anther wire.. replace wire..

A friend of my son's hooked the jumper cables up wrong on my son's nissan 2002 Xterra. The 100 amp battery fuse blew but welded itself in the fuse box. We tried getting it out and eventually broke the...

This fuse is attached to the fuse box by screws which may be under the fuse box. 100 amp automobile fuses are always fastened in by screws and do not just push in/pull out like lower amp fuses.
Hope this helps.
