Soundmax drivers i want to install the ibm system drivers I WANT DOWNLOAD SOUND DRIVER OF MSI BOARD (RTL)

SkullyFox give the good solution but let me tell you one thing.....
If you by mistake installed the wrong drivers in the Realtek chipset sound then you have to remove or uninstalled the sound application …..
Intel Original all the boards having the same problem ….
Over the internet one patch is available for Realtek sound drivers first you need to install that patch after this also sound not came then try re-installing the Sound application…

I think you made a mistake, if your sound card isn't an additional card, then your sound device is SoundMax AD1888. You can download it from this link :

The name you mentioned here Rlt 8101L is not a sound card, it a Lan card. I hope you understand when i make it clear about this. Or else you've additional card (Ad-ons sound card), then it'd be difficult for us to know since you haven't mentioned the device name.

Sound problem in IBM R50E NOTEBOOK
I think your system need Microsoft UAA High Definition Bus Driver.

Download this patch

Install this fix first and installed the driver.

But as you have previously installed the driver,just installing the above patch will most probably solve the porblem.

Sound card on IBM R50 THINKPAD
Your sound card is "SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio".The chipset manufacturer name is "SoundMax".It's very hard to define what sound comes with any Notebook if the driver is not installed.We too search the Internet according to the Notebook company,model,series etc.

here is the sound driver you need...but remember that the problem might be from another point..anyway the silly stuff with sp3 and sp2 doesnt matter ...cause the sound driver its the same for all XP operating system ...sometimes its the same for vista too ...only in special cases need another ..
so ..download ...and after you remove from the system all the other drivers...( look into add remove programs from control panel ) I mean all other tries and any unfit drivers that ya might tried..restart ..run this one ...and it willwork ...

Lost mother board CD sound drivers not installed
You can click on the MSI link below for your MS-6734 motherboard; (All drivers & more).

If your sound driver software will not install correctly there are other ways to install the driver.
First, your windows registry should be cleaned. (Windows registry contains old sound driver software & RegCure will remove none needed windows keys).
Download & run the free program RegCure.
Here is the link for RegCure;

Once RegCure has finished restart your system. Create a folder on your desktop & name it, Sound driver. Download the driver from MSI (See the first link above) File name, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip & save the file into your Sound Driver folder. The file named Realtek_AC97_MB.zip is compressed.
You will need to uncompress the file, you will need WinZip for this. You can download a free trial from the next link; (Winzip uncompress *.zip files).

Once Winzip has been installed restart your system.
Open the Sound Driver folder. Right click once on the file named, Realtek_AC97_MB.zip.
A pop-up window will open slide your mouse to the Winzip icon & right click on it once. In the next pop-up window slide to & left click, Extract to here. The file will uncompress.
Uncompress ion will create another folder named, AC97. All needed driver files will be stored in the AC97 folder.

Open windows device manager. Click the start button (In windows) & open control panel. Open the System icon. Click the hardware tab & than click the device manager button. Look at the icons.
If you see, unknown PCI device or a yellow pair shaped icon with an explanation point ( ! ). This will most likely be for the sound driver. In stall the driver software from here. (Follow the instructions below).
Right click once on the explanation point, a window will open & Left click once on “update driver”. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Left click on the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the “ Sound Driver ” folder on your desktop. Open it, high-light the AC97 folder by left clicking on it once. Windows will search within the folder & install the correct sound driver software. Restart your system.
Open windows control panel & open the Sound and Audio Devices icon. Check both the Audio tab & Voice tab. Both should show RealTek AC97. Test for audio.
There are two MSI MS-6734 motherboards.
One model number, MSI KM4M-L MS-6734 & MSI KM4AM-L MS-6734. See below;

Ibm sound card drive
The motherboard (IBM FRU 13R8926) has on-board ADI SoundMax audio. It's used in a variety of IBM/Lenovo desktop computers- including ThinkCentre A50p and M50. This should be the download page for the A50p and M50 models:

You should be able to use the ADI driver-only download on newer (x86) versions of Windows; although it indicates 98SE/2000/XP, version 5.12.01.5410 worked fine on my Windows 7 Professional install.

IBM/Lenovo lists drivers under the system model number, rather than by component, but you can search the IBM and/or Lenovo site for the FRU number (13R8926, in this case) to find the systems that it goes with, and then pick one of those systems to find the relevant downloads.

You should install the Chips drivers or intall all the driver in series listed in your CD Utilities. Its good if you download the latest drivers of your system at www.asus.com or here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

You should download for 64x2 drivers.
