Sent texts I want to delete the list of people I have sent texts to. When you select to send a text, you can either go to contacts or send to a recent recipient. I want to delete the recent list, but after spending a lot of time trying, I still don't know how

try to open your call manager or call log menu. once open, you can see the list of people whom contacted you and whom you contacted, there's a call log list, press it and it will give you a drop down menu, which will filter the people, select sent messages and it will give you the list people whom you texted, from there you can delete them and they will be removed from your recent contacts.

Unfortunately the only way to get rid of the recent list is to do a manufacturer reset on your device (menu>settings>more>security>erase/reset>reset phone)

Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....

you just go to "send message" option, then select "picture mail", then go to "recent list", click OK, then select the person you want to delete and click on "options" and click on "delete". It will then delete that person from your recent list. I just did this and it works.

Take a picture and select it to send. Under Options on the camera screen, it will populate the screen to send. if you go to your recent list (last option), it will bring up folks you've TEXT. Select the names you want to remove, then Options. You can delete the contacts here, which removes them from your recent list, but not your "hard contact" list in the main phone.

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!

I took a wack at it and it took me an hour to figure it out. Okay where is the way go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.
