Question about Whirlpool MH1150XMQ Microwave Oven
While the turntable can be prevented from running while cooking if you turn it off with the keypad, that's probably not relevant here.
This
problem is usually caused by either a bad upper door switch or a loose door switch
mount, which are pretty simple problems to fix.
My help file on door switches is here.
There
should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating
components.
At
our Web site, we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
You can find
helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full
model number from the tag on the oven here.
We're
happy
to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating
of our answer.

Testimonial: "William nailed it. The upper door switch would not work when the door was closed. Open it the smallest bit and it worked. The connectors were colored blue from excessive heat. The middle switch worked but had blue connectors too. I have ordered replacements for all 3. Thanks William"
> Will the fan and light still come on if a door switch is bad or loose?
Yes. The top door switch on this model supplies power to both the turntable and the high voltage section of the oven.
If the switch is not being activated, the symptom will be that everything works except that it will not cook and the turntable will not come on.
Also, the stirrer motor will not come on, but you'll not notice that unless you run the oven without the stirrer cover in place.

William-Will the fan and light still come on if a door switch is bad or loose?
The light comes on when the door is opened and both the light and fan come on with the door closed and the micorwave started. However, the oven does not heat nor does the turntable rotate. The turntable On/Off button does not beep or activate the device when pressed.
I just want to confirm that a door switch is the culprit before disassembly.
Thanks for your help.
