Error oxc18a0001 on screen, can't print?

The only way to fix Oxc18a errors is to reset the printer. You can find the instructions on www.inkbank.com.au website here:

If you have a C6180, the error code you give here is not in the manual, so you better contact HP service centre like the manual explains.

Filling your cartridge with non-HP ink won't cause an error. There are basically two reasons for ink system failure, The cartridge is no good or the ink system has failed. Some of these machines can be reset. But, try replacing cartridge first.
