Hi
All drivers for Windows XP for this laptop can be found here:
Product Support Dell US
If under the category heading you specify "video" then the list will give you 2 drivers - both in the form of executable files - which can be downloaded and installed onto the computer. One of the files is for the Intel graphics chipset, and the other for the ATI graphics chipset. You need to make sure of the chipset you have otherwise the drivers will not work properly, if at all.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
Reboot the laptop, the Software should ID the Hardware and apply the generic driver, Or, Open Control Panel, Device Manager, San for Hardware Changes, the Scan should ID and apply the driver, reboot. OR, you can find the Dell Latitude D610 Windows XP drivers here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/latitude-d610. Run Windows Updates and Dell Updates for current and up-to-date drivers.
Hi There, Currently Dell offers no support for windows 98 on any of their products. The Latitude D610 laptop is specifically built for windows 2000/XP, therefor no drivers exist for outdated operating systems such as '98. That's not to say, however, that you can't seek out windows '98 drivers for each specific component, which a lot of users have done. In my opinion it would be much easier to install windows 2000 and download the drivers from the dell website instead. Source: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071018165042AA7OnLW

Unfortunately this computer is not windows 7 compatible, this means that sony is not gonna issue drivers for the laptop base on win7, however the os can be installed and you try using the drivers for windows xp, it is not sure but probably win7 would take those drivers. give it a try it has worked for me, i include the xp drivers download link xp drivers
Hi
The D610 does not by default have bluetooth it does have an icon for bluetooth on the mold if your system does have bluetooth the dell web sight has drivers and software to install and set up the use also with you are using windows XP SP2 has some bluethooth options you can enable in windows control panel
I know this might sound strange but I was working on a similar model and had same problem. Fresh install of XP tried every trick to speed it up, but to no avail. I did have a message when booting up about the power adapter not being right even though it was the right one. Long story short..try replacing power adapter(charger). Some Dells will not run full speed if there is a problem with the power adapter (charger). Hopefully you find this helpful.
