Ford bantam heat my ford bantam 2003 1.6 xl makes a spraying of water noise everytime i stop,then i open the hood and can feel the engine is very hot.the water is also this brownish color. anybody any idvice.

sounds like a joke post but I will humor you.
Unplug the Hooter (must be a South African) and see if the noise stops. Also check that the bolt holding it on is not coming loose. Some horns (hooter) make that sound if they vibrate.

did you remember to release the hold in tag for the hydraulic tensioner after you installed it.

Vacuum leak around inlet manifold or hose, spray around with D 40 or similar,engine will speed up when you find the leak. DO NOT spray around hot exhaust or you will have a fire.

air in the system .put your heating on full .to bleed the heater.remove the expansion bottle cap .run the engine push in the hose from your radiator with your fingers to get the air out your bottle and replace your cap.

Check what head gasket was used . I suspect that an after market gasket was used. If that is the case there will be holes in the block and head thet have no matching holes in the gasket thereby causing the problem

open the hood listen to where the noise is comming from I suspect pullys shut off engine .Get a full can of wd40 spray one pully at a time start engine after spraying each pully when the noise quites down or goes away that will be the pully you will want to inspect further or replace before it leaves you stranded. I drive a 04 crown vic great car ps while your there check your serpintine belt. shouldnt be cracked or missing teeth. about 30 dollars at napa easy to replace.

gets wet on top or bottom of engine, on top water might of got into the spark ignition system, on bottom, could of got water into a sensor until it dries out, ford are **** wits and want ur money, id take it back and say since that didnt work fix it for free ya ****.
