How do I rename the Urdrive when it shows up on My Computer?

Something to add to HoboPelican's solution, if you open the autorun.inf file with notepad or wordpad you can change the name on the last line where it says "LABEL = KINGSTON URDRIVE" then just replace KINGSTON URDRIVE with the name you would like to call the drive.

I have uninstall the URDRIVE software and deleted it from my thumbdrive. But now, i want install it back into my thumbdrive and i don't know how and where to get the urdrive software.

If you format your drive you will lose the urDrive software.

Get another copy here: http://www.kingston.com/support/urdrive/urDrive_1.1.(124)_GA.zip

Installation Instructions:
Once WinZip opens (or an alternate compression tool), highlight all of the urDrive files and extract them directly to the Kingston drive.

urDrive CAN be downloaded from the official Kingston website. They provide it because often people who have their USB drive lose the software when they format the drive. However, depending on the version and where you are trying to install it, you may see this error: "This drive is not authorized to run this software."

Hi ,

You can Uninstall the U3 system , link to uninstaller can be found at : http://www.u3.com/support/default.aspx#CQ3

once you uninstall it you can go back and reinstall the U3 system from the same website.

Data recovery software might help you but you must find the way to get the software or if you dont want to take any kind of risk i suggest take it to some data recovery expert

You can use USB drive recovery software because using this software I was able to restore digital data from formatted usb flash drive.
