I lost my software and tried to download the driver. When I tried to download the driver, it would not install into my computer. How do I get it to install my computer?

You'll need to install the printer driver on your computer. From there, the Lexmark software will give you step-by-step instructions on how to install and setup your printer.

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X4690 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

After installing the printer driver, try to print a document to verify that the software is installed successfully.

If you have lost the CD, you need to download the drivers and software from HP website.

Reun the software after download has finished.

Unplug printer USB before starting driver installation.

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.

if you need the software and drivers you can go to logitech support and driver software and downloads at logitech.com/downloads look for your product they will have the software and the drivers for you

The driver and the CanoScan Toolbox can be downloaded. Unfortunately, the bundled software is not available for download. Try contacting the Canon Support Center to see if they can send you another.
