You are apparently NOT receiving satellite signals, nothing will change until it connects. Be sure to give the unit unobstructed view to the sky. If it never connects, unit will need repair.
Your GPS transceiver(Transmitter/reciever) is not working.It is either obstructed by a metal plate or any part of your vehicle or the cone where the signal is detected is disconnected from the circuit board.Try relocating the unit to where there is no obstruction(any metal).If this does not work it needs servicing.The transceiver is usually located on the middle top side of the unit.It is the antenna where the GPS satellite signal is recieved.

check the port is set to 8 not sure if your model has GPS search wher it finds the port and vbaude automativcally, if it does use it and see if that fixes it if not your battery is too low you have a damaged SIIRF chip and that is expensive to repair
hi you need to reset the unit at the back near the connection there is a small button that needs to be held down when holding the power button on for a few seconds. once you have done this turn it on and it will work fine
