When i put in my dvd it keeps telling me no disc but them the next time it works fine

pls Clean your DVD player's LASER lens .. A clean DVD player Lens ensures that your DVD disc would be read and Write properly. Unfortunately, your DVD player's Lens accumulate as much dust and lint as the other parts of the DVD player. There are many available DVD lens cleaner kits that you can purchase and use to clean your DVD player.
YOUR DVD disc itself should be clean and finger prints free as well....

Cds fine; dvds won't load

Most likely the DVD laser lens is dirty. Unplug the CH-DVD 300 from the wall outlet, wait 5 minutes, then remove the top cover. Next, remove the rectangular metal plate which covers the area where the CD or DVD disc would be when in the player's tray. Underneath the rectangular plate you should see two small lenses. Gently clean these lenses using ear swabs moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Reassemble the CH-DVD 300 in the reverse order that you disassembled it, plug it back into power, and now it should read your DVD discs just fine.

Can't get disc out of tower

Restart the computer, and when computer is starting up keep pressing many times the eject button until disk pops out.
Do this a couple of times
If this does not work you will need to remove the CD/DVD unit and stick a paperclip on the CD eject hole, in the front side of the CD/DVD drive.

DVD does not recognise discs

You may upgrade your DVD burner firmware for a try, this way can fix many general problem,
Or you may try other dvd burning software such as avs video tools, I always use it to burn DVD, it works pretty well, and here is a guide about how to use ti

Samsung 3650 dvd/vcr player loading problem

Sorry, no suggestion other than don't buy Samsung. That's my conclusion after owning the same model. It worked fine for a while, but now won't load any DVD... usually. Sometimes it will play one, but more often it won't. Mine tries to load ("Loading") for a long time, I hear the DVD spinning, then ultimately the screen displays "This disc cannot be played" or something to that effect.

Dvd "unknown disc" message coming up

Have you tryed to use a lens cleaning disc yet. The laser lens on these players and recorders alike, must have the lens cleaned every oince in awhile. If that does not help, most likly you have a bad laser pickup assembly and you will need to replace the plaer as to have that repaiered, you could buy a new unit. Good Luck

" unknown disc, check disc" message

3 out of 10 will record 30-40 min and say DISK FULL..
2+ out of 10 I'll record 2- 1 hour shows then I'll
get a " disc unknown " error...
