SOURCE: how to connect behringer ultragain pro mic

Here is the manual:http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/MIC2200_P0054_M_ENG.pdf Plug your microphone into the input using a proper cable. Plug another balanced cable into the output on the back and plug it into a microphone input on the mixing board. If your mixing board already has phantom power, disable it for that input as the MIC2200 has phantom power. Read the manual carefully and take note of the directions for phantom power and balanced cables. Make sure you follow the directions carefully. If you need the manual in a different language look the MIC2200 up under products at Behringer.com and you can download in pdf format in many different languges.

How can I reduce white noise / hissing I'm getting over the mic on a Behringer Xenyx 1204 USB setup?

Hi, you didn't say if the mic actually passes sound? The C-1 is a condenser Mic & needs phantom power - switch on the rear of your mixer. If that's no help, what happens if you disconnect the mic, then turn the levels back up? Still hissing or gone? If it's gone then it's the Mic - must use a 3 wire cable, preferably XLR so it gets the phantom power. If the hiss is still there without the Mic then sounds like the mixer is faulty - try some of the other channels..... How loau is the hiss - just in the background or as load as a vocal "one, two" test? A few things to check anyway...... Good Luck!

C1 not working

Sounds like your Phantom power supply may be defective. To be safe, 1st try moving AC plug for Phantom supply to another outlet as sometimes "sharing grounds" can be a problem. If this doesn't help, try using another phantom power source ...many PA mixers have built-in phantom power. If the buzz disappears with a new one, it will be a filtering issue (capacitors) with the old phantom supply.

I Purchased behringer c1 u microphone and I want to record my singing with karoke..Problem is that when I connect laptop with speakers my singing volume is coming louder but sound of background music is...

You need a mixer. Connect the microphone to the mixer and also the background music. That way you have separate control of volume for the voice and the music.
The background noise can come from different sources. One of them is from the laptop itself, if the laptop is noisy to begin with.

Behringer Xenyx 502 Mic buzzing...PLEASE HELP

Get yourself anti-static spray and spray over the connector before inserting into the jack, most times its dust or static buildup which causes that buzzing sound and in other times replace your mic

Behringer ub802 mixer is buzzing even when no input when i hook my head phones into the headphone jack and main output jack

If it buzzes when you have no inputs AND no output leads connected, there is a problem with the power supply... HOWEVER if you have used UNBALANCED output cables instead of the REQUIRED TRS BALANCED output cables, it is possible the noise is being driven backwards and that is what you are hearing. Note that at full gains, there often is a tiny bit of noise, usually hiss. Also make sure the supply is powered from the SAME receptacle as the equipment this drives such as an amp or powered speakers.

I have the Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer, it's brand-new, and for some reason there's a weird buzzing/hissing sound in the main mix that will just not go away no matter what I do. I've unplugged everything,...

Is the sound a low frequency buzz or high frequency hiss? With all the input level controls at the minimum position and the output level controls at the maximum is the sound audible?

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

I have a condenser mic, and it needed phantom power to work, so I bought the Ultra Di-100, but I don't know how to make my mic work with it.

Sorry, but the DI-100 can OPERATE on phantom power, not supply it. If you have a mixer that has phantom power then you have no need for the DI box. DI boxes are to convert unbalanced signals to balanced to send via XLR or TRS cables.

If you don't have a mixer that has built in Phantom power or a source of Phantom power, then you need a mic preamp that can supply the phantom power.

Here is an example device, but DO shop[ around as you should find some even less expensive. Make sure they have phantom power.

Behringer MX 3242x Mic input not working

Unfortunately, the way the mic preamp and gain control are surface mount components on the PCBoard, it's unlikely you'll be able to do it yourself. Best take it to an authorized Mackie repair shop, or send it back to Mackie.

I bought a new behringer vmx1000. I can not get the microphone working.

What microphone are you using, and also have you checked the cable is good? The gain knob on the mic channel is the only independent control for the mic level in relation to the music (without altering the masters). Also, you need the mic to be enabled on the channel, using the Mic On switch. Yours might be labelled On Air, Mic Live, etc.
