I've included a video tutorial at the end of these instructions. To change the bulb on your ELMO Omnigraphic 252 slide projector, follow these steps:
Safety First: Unplug the projector from the power source and allow it to cool down for at least an hour. This ensures your safety and prevents accidental burns.
Locate the Lamp Access Panel: Look for the lamp access panel on your projector. It's usually located near the lens or on the side of the projector body.
Remove the Screws and Access Panel: Use a screwdriver to remove any screws securing the access panel. Once removed, you'll have access to the lamp housing.
Remove the Lamp Housing: Reach inside the projector and firmly pull out the lamp housing. It might be held in place by additional screws; remove those as well.
Replace the Bulb: Take out the old bulb (lamp module) from the housing. Make sure you have a compatible replacement bulb. Handle the new bulb carefully to avoid touching the glass surface.
Insert the New Bulb: Slide the new bulb into the housing, aligning it properly. Secure it in place with any screws that were removed earlier.
Reset the Lamp Hours: If your projector has a lamp hour counter, reset it to zero. Refer to your projector's manual for instructions on how to do this.
Close Up: Put the lamp housing back into the projector, replace the access panel, and tighten the screws.
Look for speaker underneath and cut the wire! I doubt you can leave the light on all the time, as these things are controlled by a computer chip the size of a postage stamp.
They stop working because they are made in China for $5. They are not normally repairable apart from changing batteries. If you want to get inside, it will be through the base. Probably screws hidden under felt.

If the motor is "OK" (turning), then it's not a fuse, it's the belt that the motor drives to power the slide change mechanism. There are 2 belts: 1 that drives the fan & one that drives the slide change mechanism.
It is operating in "continuous cycle" mode. It's possible a contact on the slide change camstack has either worn out or an adjustment to that electrical contact point needs to be made. An authorized Service Dealer has the instructions to make this repair.
There are two tabs that hold the top of the lighthouse on; push in gently just above one of the tabs, and it should release the top of the lighthouse. The red and green covers just pop off.
